Kevin Burton is the Chief Operating Officer for the Bitfury Group. Kevin brings more than 25 years of operational leadership to Bitfury and has co-founded and led two European startups. In 2008, Kevin founded Parthenon Symbiotic Data Centres in the Netherlands, focused on building efficient and sustainable datacenters (now owned by Microsoft as part of their flagship datacenter portfolio). In 2011, Kevin joined the executive leadership team at Hewlett Packard, serving as CEE/Russia Managing Principal for Datacenter Consulting. In 2013, after successfully leading the development, redirection and growth of the business, he became HP’s Director for Data Center Consulting across EMEA. Before joining Bitfury in 2018, Kevin was Hewlett Packard’s Global Director for Data Center Advisory and Professional Services, having been instrumental in developing Hybrid IT and multi-cloud environments for major enterprise accounts. Kevin is a renowned expert in datacenter technologies and is a distinguished member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in London, UK. He received his vocational technical degree, a Btechnology diploma, in electrical and electronic engineering from the Norfolk College of Arts and Technology in the United Kingdom.
