Dmitry is a successful entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience. He is a triathlete, with three completed Ironman triathlons.
Between 2002 and 2008, Dmitry worked as a managing partner for RosBusinessConsulting, where he was responsible for developing complex IT systems for companies from the Top500 list and various government agencies. Later, he lead the entire web hosting and domain business for RBC, which controlled 25% of the web hosting market and 20% of the domain market in Russia.
From 2009 through 2014, Dmitry was the Vice President of Information Technology for the largest Russian private educational university, Synergy. While there, he created a platform for online learning called Megacampus, as well as a system for automating business processes for the educational institution Akada.
Simultaneously, while working with Synergy Holding, Dmitry, along with his partners, founded the Russian startup Biglion. He later sold his share in the business to launch several new projects in Silicon Valley.
From 2014 through early 2018, he worked for the Moscow Government as the Advisor to the Head of Department and curator for IT operations for city transportation. In addition, he also supervised all of the IT systems involved in the Moscow transportation complex with over 150 systems. These included fare payment systems, parking control, traffic control, signal regulation, and video surveillance.
In March of 2018, Dmitry joined Bitfury as the head of Russian operations.
