Stijn Ehren

Stijn Ehren joined Bitfury in 2018 as an external advisor and joined the Group in 2020 as the Group’s tax director, aligning tax strategy with our business.
In 2022, Stijn has been promoted to Managing Director of the Bitfury Group’s statutory infrastructure, including his responsibility for the Group’s tax portfolio.
Stijn brings 30 years of experience in senior management and taxes, gained at Andersen’s High Tech tax team, in regional tax functions at Cisco Systems Amsterdam and Singapore, as head of tax for Akzo Nobel Pharma and as international tax executive Merck Sharpe & Dohme based in New York, with a seat in the supervisory board of the Dutch operations.
Stijn has a master’s degree in Tax & Economics from Amsterdam University, US international tax from New York University and corporate governance from Nyenrode business university, and is a member of the Netherlands Tax Council.
