The Global Blockchain Business Council seeks to expand blockchain technology around the world, foster relationships between member organizations, and act in the service of organizations looking to learn more about blockchain technology and how it can advance their business and operations. Bitfury is a founding member of the GBBC.

The mission of the GBBC

• Bring awareness and opportunity to businesses around the world about the innovative power of blockchain technology.
• Provide opportunities for businesses to increase their impact using this groundbreaking technology.
• Educate business leaders about blockchain technology and related trends.
• Create a forum by which business leaders, technologists and other organizations can interface on best practices, trends, and other items related to blockchain technology.

The Blockchain Trust Accelerator was founded in 2016 by the Bitfury Group, New America, and the National Democratic Institute. The purpose of the accelerator is to connect blockchain-based pilot concepts with technologists, governments, and funders in order to deliver better governance outcomes and social impact. The Blockchain Trust Accelerator matches promising pilot proposals with the civic expertise and technical partners needed to produce software that can be successfully scaled to address social and governance challenges. This initiative will dramatically accelerate the number and quality of blockchain pilot programs designed to deliver new benefits to civic society.

Bitfury is proud to be a founding member of the Blockchain Alliance. The Blockchain Alliance is a public-private forum created by the blockchain community to foster open dialogue between industry and law enforcement and regulatory agencies. The alliance is a broad coalition of companies and organizations who have come together with a common goal – to make the blockchain ecosystem more secure and to promote further development of this transformative technology.

The Blockchain Summit, hosted by The Bitfury Group and Bill Tai, welcomes key global influencers in technology, civil society, democracy promotion and innovation to a riveting discussion about the world-changing potential applications of the blockchain.

The Bitfury Group actively supports Coin Center – the leading non-profit research and advocacy center focused on the public policy issues facing cryptocurrency and decentralized computing technologies. Coin Center mission is to build a better understanding of these technologies and to promote a regulatory climate that preserves the freedom to innovate using permissionless blockchain technologies. The organization producing and publishing policy research from respected academics and experts, educating policymakers and the media about blockchain technology, and by engaging in advocacy for sound public policy.

Bitfury's artificial intelligence division is a member of the Embedded Vision Alliance. The Embedded Vision Alliance™️ is a worldwide industry partnership bringing together technology providers and end-product companies who are enabling innovative and practical applications for computer vision for a wide range of applications, including automotive, consumer electronics, gaming, medical, retail and more. The mission of the Alliance is two-fold: to inspire and empower product creators to incorporate visual intelligence into new products and applications and to enable member companies to accelerate success in computer vision.
