Young K. Sohn is the former president and chief strategy officer at Samsung Electronics. He has worked in the semiconductor and manufacturing for 30 years. He is the Board director at Cadence Designs Systems and formerly was the CEO and president of four Silicon Valley public companies: Quantum, Oak Technologies, Agilent Semiconductors and Inphi. He was instrumental in starting Intel’s highly successful PC chipset business. He received his MBA from MIT and received his BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania.
